James Rainey
As RedDrum’s Chief Executive Officer, James is an innovative leader that drives the company’s overall growth strategy as well as customer outreach. He is a highly accomplished entrepreneur with 25+ years experience supporting the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. Prior to RedDrum, James was co-founder and CEO of Applied Technology Group, a leading provider of advanced data analytics. He was part of the start-up of CyberCore Technologies, and played a major role in growing it to become a leading IT managed services company. James also worked for General Electric, building a world-class professional services division. James earned his B.S. in Computer Sciences from UMBC and has been recognized as an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
Bethany Brown
As RedDrum’s Chief Administrative Officer, Bethany is responsible for driving administrative and operational strategies within the company. Prior to joining RedDrum, Bethany was Vice President of Staff Services at Applied Technology Group / Applied Insight. As an entrepreneur, she brings the knowledge and passion necessary to lead the operational functions at RedDrum and support the company’s vision. Along with Bethany’s drive for excellence is her desire to build and strengthen her relationships with every employee. She understands that employees are the cornerstone of our business and works continually to ensure each person has a voice within our organization. She’s committed to each person’s professional growth and success within RedDrum.
Kara Kehoe
As RedDrum's Chief Talent Officer, Kara is responsible for creating the talent acquisition and talent development strategy in alignment with the company's overall goals. She leads RedDrum's recruitment efforts and is focused on employee growth and development. Over the course of Kara's 20 year career, she has provided red carpet experiences to candidates, clients and hiring managers. The past 9+ years she has led recruiting initiatives in the Intel, DOD, and FedCiv community, and prior to joining RedDrum, she was the VP of Talent Acquisition at Applied Insight. Kara is known for her passionate and energetic personality, and she truly enjoys connecting with people and building relationships. She is committed to helping candidates and employees find a job that is fulfilling and meets their career goals.
Adam Lerman
As RedDrum’s Chief Technology Officer, Adam is responsible for developing and managing the company’s technological strategy. Adam brings a wealth of knowledge and extensive experience as a Principal Software Engineer and is a Certified Kubernetes Application Developer and Cloudera Certified Hadoop Developer. Adam began his career at Lockheed Martin in the Intelligence Services and Global Solutions Department and has since supported the Department of Defense for various other small companies, including Applied Technology Group. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut. Adam utilizes his Cloud Computing and DevOps knowledge to ensure that RedDrum’s resources and capabilities meet our customer’s most complex data challenges.
